So this woman vibe coded a product using Lovable that is now making $456,000 a year, three months after launch.
The Tragic Story That Sparked the Idea
Now this was built by a woman named Sabr Matos, but what happened is she saw the news that a woman was murdered by a boyfriend with a hidden criminal record, and her mom said, okay, you have to do something about this.
So what did she do? She created this platform Plink, where any woman can sign up and look for hidden criminal records for the person they are dating or involved in a relationship with.
Built With AI – No Coding Experience
Now the interesting thing here is this is a Brazilian founder and she has no coding experience whatsoever, but using AI through Lovable, that’s the platform I’m always building little apps with, she was able to build Plink and get it launched.
Now, it only took her 90 days to reach 10,000 users and $456,000 in annual recurring revenue.
You can see on the landing page some of the testimonials from women who have used it and avoided certain people based on the data they got back.
How It Actually Works
Now, I’ve done some research and the way this works apparently is the app searches various databases, pulls the information, and then throws it into Claude AI in order to analyze the data and come up with some type of report that gives you a summary of any criminal information on the person that you have searched for.
You have to input a name and a phone number in order to do the search.
Now the interesting thing is this is only for the Brazilian market. It doesn’t search anything other than Brazilian databases. So you cannot use this to search for people in the US and their criminal backgrounds.
Why This Story Matters
This highlights the power of AI.
A person that has never coded before was able to launch a product using Lovable. It went viral. People started using it, and now she’s got a real product and a real company that she could continue to grow and scale. So this is an amazing story.
But if you would like to hear more stories like this about how to build products that people actually pay for and how to bootstrap them without getting any funding, then definitely subscribe and follow along. A lot of great content coming up.
