Okay guys, so this is a tool that I originally vibe coded over a year ago, and now we have hundreds of customers.
How URL to Text Started
So it’s called URLtoText.com. And the reason I created this originally was it was a completely free tool that I was using for allowing Stammer customers to debug issues with our web scraper.
Well, people started using it and some of the customers, some of the Stammer customers were like, okay, I would like an API in order to be able to use this independently.
When It Became a Real Product
So what I did at that time, I got a real developer to come in and completely rebuild the tool. There is nothing left that is vibe coded at this point, but by vibe coding it and launching it and just getting it out there, and I really honestly never intended for this to become an actual product.
But that’s one of the amazing things that can happen when you’re building another product, is you’ll find pain points along the way that you can turn into other products.

But anyway, yeah, this is a fantastic approach. Vibe code something, get it out there, even if it has bugs, and then if people start actually using it, then you will feel okay with the idea of investing more time and more money into it.
Now, definitely have a real developer come in and, you know, clean things up or maybe even completely rebuild it from the ground up.
But yes, get out there. Start vibe coding, and you may come across a real product idea just like I did.
