For work, I currently develop on a PC. I am hoping that may change eventually but until then a fellow team member at work turned me on to a great tool that makes the Windows command line a lot more bearable, Cmder!

From the Cmder website, Cmder is "a software package created out of pure frustration over the absence of nice console emulators on Windows. It is based on amazing software, and spiced up with the Monokai color scheme and a custom prompt layout. Looking sexy from the start."

I can stress enough how awesome Cmder is! Unlike some other Windows terminal solutions it still allows all of your normal commands and features. When trying things like Cygwin I would often have problems with not being able to activate Python virtual enviroments and other Windows CLI features would just start breaking.
